Younger Daughter took a tumble off her horse earlier this week. That happens a lot, only this time she landed wrong side up and got a concussion. Just a mild one — but I still had to wake her up every couple of hours to make sure her eyes were both pointing in the same direction and her mind was clear. (As clear as a teenager’s mind can be at 3:00 a.m., at any rate.)
The time I’ve spent awake these past few nights was spent dabbling in a new (for me) art form. I discovered a neat website called BitStrips.com that lets you make your own comic strip. Which I promptly did, and the result is now adorning my About Me page. Please check it out and let me know what you think shower me with praise.

Love the cartoon! What a great blogging tool. Consider yourself showered in praise
Hope YD is feeling better now.
Thanks Judy. She’s back at school today but still has a bit of a headache. And she’s dying to get back on the horse!
You’re wonderful! Marvellous! A creative mind like no other! Shower, shower, shower (this is not to remind you of the showering toilet or whatever it is …. ), praise, praise, praise …
That’s not a shower; that’s a tsunami. But I’ll take it.
Thanks.
Cute! At first, I thought you were jumping on the bandwagon of those animated robot voiced thing-a-ma-jigs (not sure what they are called, but I like this cartoon better!)
Thanks Naomi! The animated things look like too much work. And I’m allergic to that.
